Samten Hills Dalat Welcomes Namaste Vietnam Festival 2024 Delegates
On August 30th, a delegation from India (Namaste Vietnam Festival 2024) visited the Samten Hills Dalat. This location has made a strong mark on the international tourism map with The World’s Largest Prayer Wheel stupa, officially recognized by the Guinness World Records. The delegation praised Vietnam’s tourism and remarked that Samten Hills Dalat is a must-visit destination for international tourist groups.
The Namaste Vietnam delegation visited Samten Hills Dalat and took photos at The World’s Largest Prayer Wheel Drigung Kagyu Rinchen Khorchen Khorwe Go Gek.
In August, the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City presided over and coordinated the cultural and economic exchange festival, the Namaste Vietnam Festival 2024. This annual event fosters stronger connections between Vietnam and India, significantly enhancing relations across five key sectors: trade and investment, tourism, railways, education, and cinema. Notably, the event welcomed 20 leading stars, filmmakers, entertainment companies, 30 travel companies, 34 universities, and 30 businesses from India to Vietnam. After meetings and business cooperation, the delegation embarked on tours to explore tourist attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Phu Yen, Lam Dong, and other locations.
Among Vietnam’s tourist attractions, the delegation highly praised the Samten Hills Dalat Cultural and Spiritual Tourism Destination, which is located in Don Duong District, Lam Dong Province. It is renowned for being The World’s Largest Prayer Wheel. Since being officially recognized by the Guinness World Records on December 11, 2022, this tourist destination has become widely known by international tourist groups.
Singer Sonal Pradhan enjoyed a costumed photoshoot in Himalaya traditional dress, a service currently available at Samten Hills Dalat.

Mr. Rahul Bali joyfully experienced turning the prayer wheel, The World’s Largest Prayer Wheel powered by human strength. Each rotation is believed to bring positive energy and happiness to oneself and everyone.
According to Mr. Rahul Bali, Samten Hills Dalat will become the main filming location for the tourism cooperation film between the two countries, “Love In Vietnam”. He is particularly fond of the sacred energy of this place and has chosen it as the site for the most important scenes in the film.
The pillar inscribed with the Drigung Kagyu Rinchen Khorchen Khorwe Go Gek, officially recognized as The World’s Largest Prayer Wheel made a strong impression on the delegation of Indian business people and singers.
