Series of events to inaugurate Samten Hills Dalat cultural and spiritual tourist area
From February 27, 2023 – March 12, 2023, the series of events to inaugurate the Samten Hills Dalat Cultural and Spiritual Tourist Area will officially take place with a series of large-scale festivals and activities.
Samten Hills Dalat cultural and spiritual tourist area is a project rooted in the sincere thoughts of the founder – Kim Phat Production – Trading Co., Ltd. Stretching on beautiful high hills in Don Duong with a large space of up to 220 hectares, Samten Hills Dalat is the first and only complete body-spirit-mind ecosystem in Vietnam. This is also the first project in collaboration with the great His Holiness Drubwang Sonam Jorfel and the Lamas to create Drigung Kagyu Samten Ling Vietnam – the Vajrayana Buddhist Spiritual Cultural Space. The work has been was awarded by the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations for its efforts in preserving and promoting the Vajrayana Buddhism Value in Vietnam.
Under the leadership of His Holiness Drubwang Sonam Jorfel Rinpoche, the series of events to inaugurate Samten Hills Dalat will run from February 27, 2023 to March 12, 2023, including a series of ceremonies and activities such as: Chakrasamvara Drubchod, Chakrasamvara Empowerment, and Consecration; Inauguration ceremony of Drigung Kagyu Samten Ling Vietnam at Samten Hills Dalat; Empowerment ceremony and cultural art performances; The Inauguration of the Great Prayer Wheel “Drigung Kagyu Rinchen Khorchen Khorwe Go Gek” and Ceremony for the Reception of the Guinness World Record; Offering of a Long-Life Puja for His Holiness.
Among them, the most prominent events are the inauguration ceremony of Drigung Kagyu Samten Ling Vietnam at Samten Hills Dalat which took place on March 7, 2023 and the inauguration and reception of the Guinness World Record of the world largest’s prayer wheel “Drigung Kagyu Rinchen Khorchen Khorwe Go Gek” took place on March 11, 2023.
With a series of inaugural events, Samten Hills Dalat has officially become an attractive tourist destination, not only a place of worship for Buddhists, but also a sacred and peaceful destination, where ideas for us to discover our limits, think positively, find a balance between the turbulent and anxious modern world.
